starfish being "re-hydrated" after being rescued
As the story goes, a man walking on a beach that was covered with washed up starfish by the hundreds would lean over and toss them back into the sea.Someone stopped him and told him it wasn't going to make any difference, for there were so many stranded. The man tossed another one back into the sea and said "it did to that one."
The five pointed star was, according to Leonardo da Vinci, the signature of the human with the head, two arms and two legs outstretched. When you divide the circle by five, you get the astrological aspect known as a quintile (72 degrees) which is very connected to talents of creating that go back to the esoteric knowledge of alchemy. The fifth harmonic in music is a powerful resonance for stirring soul responses. And on and on. There is just something about what starfish represent to our superconscious minds that provides a key to the enormous powers of creating, for good or for ill, that humans have.
If I had to put in a sentence what is different now, in this 'new world' that was birthed in both 2011 and 2012, I would say that our human powers of creativity have been loosed in a whole new way. Whether you talk of it in terms of DNA strands replaced, or any other kind of language, things are simply more possible now having to do with our focus, vision and intent than ever before.
In caring about the simple starfish (although not so simple . . .can you regrow a missing limb?), we are, on that superconscious level, reminding ourselves that we are all one. When you save a starfish, you are saying you care to save the whole. The power of that simple act has nothing to do with numbers. It is about intent. That is where we are currently exploding with power . . .with our intent, moment to moment. Proceed with consciousness, and with great love.
