Well, we are here. The day after the pin point of the galactic alignment, for all points and purposes. So what is new and different? It is up to us. What do we wish to be new and different? Our call.

So I will get the ball rolling. Let's have a Peaceable Kingdom, where humans and creatures . . .make that ALL creatures get along, are curious, wish to interact, and delight each other. We have so much to learn from all of Nature's teachers, no matter what kingdom they are part of.

This picture is from a video of a tourist visiting in Africa where the mountain gorillas live. He was hopeful that he might get within feet of the gorillas but never in his wildest dreams did he believe that when he sat down, they would come up behind him, a mother and her children AND the big silverback who was the head of this particular band of gorillas.

The man's friend videotaped as the improbable happened. The mother gorilla and the babies came up and began touching the man on his head. The mother gorilla proceeded to give him a virtual head massage. The man could hardly fathom what was going on and was grinning ear to ear the whole time. The silverback (in the background of the picture) simply sat down and watched.

When I went to Galapagos Islands years ago, the animals were so tame you had to be careful where you put your feet because they had no fear AT ALL of humans and would not move as you approached them. Birds would light on your shoulder. We all became St. Francis of Assissi. Even as I swam there and saw two white tipped sharks next to me, I had no fear because they had no fear.

So this is what I would like to throw into the mix for the New Earth, that we trade out our fear for interest. That we uncover and explore our ability to get on any and all wavelengths, be it with other humans or with any aspect of Nature, so that we may find connection and exchange of the peaceful and curious kind to be the most natural thing in the world. We have started moving in this direction. All we need to do is, keep going. We are still in the alignment so, what a perfect time to dream the future. As I said earlier, it is our call.  

Since the word 'inspiration' originates from a meaning of 'in spirit' (or, 'spirit coming in'), in truth we are all walking, talking inspirations since our being able to have our form be animate is totally dependent on the indwelling spirit. We speak of sometimes 'feeling inspired' as if it is a sometimes thing. I put to you that we are ALWAYS inspired, so long as we are breathing.

Having said that, there are these moments when suddenly, we 'see the light.' We have epiphanies. Solutions to issues become instantaneously apparent. We are in a state of high "Eureka!". I think, when these moments happen, we are actually just experiencing what it is like to be in full operating mode. All our switches are on. This is how we are meant to be 24/7!

So why is being this way an exception and not the rule? That I cannot answer though theories abound. There is information about our activating all 12 of our DNA strands, and all the understanding around that awareness might be something for you to explore in depth, if your wondering about this topic is keeping you awake at night. It is fascinatng subject matter, for sure.

But if deep study isn't your thing, no worries. I will give you the crib notes. When you feel inspired, about anything (and you are inspired thousands of times a day in various degrees, whether you realize it or not), you are activating all your potential. When you act on your inspirations, you take things to the next level, and when you LOVE your inspirations, well, that is when you look like the enclosed picture. Your inner light explodes. Others standing next to you can feel it. People connected to you through friendship even if half way around the world will, at least fleetingly think of you. This is something that cannot be hidden.

This one fact, that inspiration is unavoidable, is why I am so optimistic about what the human race is currently going through. It is getting harder and harder to deny who we are under the guise of being a physical vehicle. Anyone committed to not seeing the Light, and hanging on to old paradigms, has a very hard row ahead. The old paradigm is 'bust your butt, suck up the difficulties and you might get somewhere.' The new paradigm is ' feel good, act on what inspires you and prepare for life to get easier.' That's my story and I am sticking to it.

There is a Mayan elder who speaks of a coming 'flashpoint' of higher awareness that will be visited upon us during the Dec.21-23 alignment of the earth and sun with the center of our galaxy. There is a period of time when higher knowing will be given in a way that has never happened to masses of people before, but, not everyone will remember it afterwards. For those that do, their lives will change forever and everything for them will be about helping others to remember who we really are here on this amazing planet and what will become possible now that we are remembering.

We are all so curious. How will this happen? What will it look like? How long will it last? What will be different afterwards?

I am like everyone else who wonders. We will know when we get there. I do think, though, I got a sneak peek into the 'heart of the matter', the core of what this experience is about. They say a picture is worth a thousand words.
 
Several times a year, my night blooming cereus plant puts out these magnificent blossoms. I never get more than one or two blossoms from this plant at a time but last week, it put out an explosion  of 12 blossoms! They bloom at night and only last for about 8 hours and then, the show is over. The most heavenly scent is emitted as they are opening. You literally can watch the blossom shiver and shake as it opens. It always demarcates a very special time when these blooms open, and I photograph each blossom.

The picture I included here is what you see in the center of the blossom. Looking at this image, I feel . . . this is a picture of what we will be receiving, on whatever level of awareness we are open to, during this December alignment I mentioned above. This time period is called the End of the Mayan Calendar and though there is dispute (and an infinite variety of interpretations) about that date and what it means, what is not disputed by those actively evolving their own consciousness is that we will experience something very unusual due to the alignment in the cosmos of earth and sun and center of the Milky Way.
 
Experiencing  glory is an internal thing. It is not dependent on calendars and clocks, but having a JOINED experience with many others with whom you share so much on so many levels, that is very unusual. I don't know what to expect on Dec.21,22 and 23, but when I look into a Cereus  blossom, I think I know what our consciousness will feel like. It's all about glory and possibility. For many, the world may look the same on the days to follow the alignment, but for those who choose not to fall back asleep, nothing will look the same, ever again. We will have our work cut out for us from that point forward, but we will be very clear about what we are doing and why, and privileged to be able to serve. It will make every struggle and sacrifice to get to this place of clear vision and open hearts worth it, I predict. The flowers are cheering us on.

They are assembled in all their infinite variety with no concerns for their differences. It is as if the two benches in front have called a meeting. The reason for the meeting, let's say, is that it is now a known fact that we are in the midst of huge challenges and huge opportunities on this planet. There is a lurking suspicion that things are possible now that were not always, or even ever before and every single chair and every single color is needed to pull off a new way of doing life on planet earth. One of the benches reminds everyone that we seemingly have the option to do nothing other than more of the same, but everything suggests that path is doomed. "Down deep, we all know that", he further adds.

One of the chairs raises an armrest to ask a question which is that all the chairs present are so different from one another so, how are we going to work as a team? Then another chair chimes in and suggest that these differences are a good thing as we will have more viewpoints to get a larger picture. Another chair suggests that everyone brings a different ability so that also is a good reason to come togehter. Another chair gives a whoop and says this is going to be a grand adventure and somehow, it will be more fun and safer to come together, for all of our differences.

The benches just let the chairs carry on and, with their bench authority, look on in satisfaction. Finally, all the talk comes to a natural ending and they all just share some silence. A nice calm fills the air, a kind of serenity. After a while, the green bench asks "Is anyone scared of the future?" Several of the chairs say they are nervous because no one knows what is coming though everyone can feel big change in the air. Some other chairs say they are nervous and excited both. One chair shocks everyone by saying "I have seen the future and what is coming is amazing in all ways and not to be feared." All the other chairs are stunned to discover this chair can see such a thing and ask the chair that is a seer, why has that not been shared with us before. "Too afraid of being too different" says the future reader.

The green bench assures that being a little scared is not all bad but that it seems everyone would like to find a way to work together in facing whatever comes and asks for a vote. With that, all the chairs, which usually cannot move much on their own all start thumping their chair legs on the ground in approval, at which the green bench says, "all right then. Adventuring together it is."

And so began the Rainbow Coalition of Chairs of Great Courage.

Faster than a speeding bullet is December 21, 2012 headed our way. This date has ever so many people on alert in anticipation of something large awaiting us all. There are many interpretations about what the end of the Long Count of the Mayan Calendar signifies but everyone seems in agreement that something is coming to a head. What might it be?

I suggest it could be many things but what is most important is what you decide to do with the large amount of energy available leading up to this day. Make a decision how you want to utilize this energy like fuel to create and to join with others in creating what is worthy and farreaching. Your heart has very clear and strong knowings about your truth and your values and it always awaits for you to create in alignment with what lives in the very center of your Being. If you did nothing in your life other than locating just what is the truth of your heart and it's values, it would be a life well spent.

I suspect that your heart knows far more than your head about what is important about Dec. 21 for you personally. Whatever you resonant with about the meaning of this date, so long as your heart casts it's vote, you are in good shape. This is not a matter of who is right and who is wrong about the meaning of the date. It is more playful than that. It is about, what lightens you up and let's more love of life stream through as you go through a kind of birthing process.

Personally, I like the idea of the date being a stepping through a portal in which one set of limiting beliefs is left behind and a new set of expansive beliefs is adopted. Things like time travel and dimensional shifts and the feeling of unity with the ALL are on the other side of the portal. You do not have to walk through. You can keep the limiting beliefs but the opportunity to shift quickly and well may never again be so grace filled and easy. Life is always about shifting and growing, but this is different.Just about everyone feels something big is up. The tendency for many is to think it will be an external event. I think primarily it is about an internal 'change of heart' and out of that, external changes will show themselves. It is already happening. But there is more to come. Much more. Much much more.

This is humanity's big chance. I suggest you open wide to whatever form your experience takes. You'll be glad you did.

I rescued a bird today, which is a fairly regular event because they fly into the window outside my home office. I give them rescue remedy, have a little chat with them and then off they go

As I am holding the bird and letting it adjust to the wonderful Bach flower essence remedy, my mind wandered to what is going on in our country. We are so polarized, severely so. There is the saying that birds of a feather stick together but we are the great melting pot in this country so we have so many different kinds of birds. That fact leaves us all to deal with the conundrum of how in the world can we feel like one flock.

Here's the deal. I think we are painted in a corner. We have no choice anymore but to find a way to be one flock. We can fight it, even make it a virtue to identify with one's own tribe calling that loyal and patriotic. There have been times in our evolution when that has been a beautiful thing but the world is changing, and getting smaller. We identify with segments of humanity at great risk to the whole of humanity. For some, this is a bitter bitter pill to swallow.

I chose this picture on this blog not just to share my rescued bird's image with you but to suggest that something about what dolphins know about how to handle differences may be the very thing we humans need to learn from. So what does pod consciousness know? I think dolphins are geniuses at knowing how to honor themselves and the whole at the same time, not an easy thing to do. They have few enemies in the diverse ocean population. Yes, they eat fish to live but other than that, their phiolsophy is to be curious, be interested and even be caring towards that which is different from them (including us humans when they help us out, which they have been doing throughout history). Humans, on the other hand, want the 'other' to become one of us. We are more interested in converting than in understanding things like . . . how come you are the way you are?

The bird of a new feather of which I speak is a new kind of human that KNOWS, everyone holds a piece of truth. Everyone counts. And lastly, we all need all the pieces of truth represented in human form. This new kind of human, this new bird, is one I firmly believe is being birthed in this century, and after our recent  election, I think America is being given a chance to figure out how to facilitate this birthing. This new human is a global citizen and knows it. That is not to say you have to deny your lineage or forget that you love your country for the good it has provided you with. It is just to say, something wonderful is happening about the very fact that the world is now smaller and we don't want to miss the gift.

I always wonder when the little rescued bird flies off, does he report good things to his feathered friends about the 'other' that I must surely appear to be to him?  I hope so.

Throughout America in 2012, the right to vote has become a renewed privilege, worth fighting for, worth being inconvenienced for, worth doing whatever it takes to make it happen. This year, including record setting early voting turnout, lines are seemingly longer than ever to take advantage of our privilege to speak our value in this very definitive way. Yes, there are dirty tricks all over the place but in a way, that is not all bad for it seems there is now an intolerance of allowing dirty tricks to work anymore and a simple determination to counter any attempts very pro-actively. People instead of just getting mad and disgusted are fighting back in ways that will work. No-one . . .absolutely no one, in this country built on ideals of freedom and equality, has the right to deprive one other soul of the right to cast a vote. Period. End of discussion. I guess the one exception would be about laws about being a felon. So, no matter how long the lines, or how cold the air, I deeply suspect today is going to be an example of extremely hefty turn out, and I just love that thought.

As an aside, as you will see if you look in my dolphin section on my website, I am very much of the mind that dolphins and whales qualify as being part of "personhood." (Read the Declaration of Rights made in Helskinki in May of 2010). I dreamed last night, on election eve, about dolphins reaching out to me. It was a lovely dream and only just now, I am making a connection. Dolphins and whales, as global citizens deserve the right to vote too. That is such a far out thought if one is going to be serious about such a thing, but I will be daydreaming about a time when such is possible. I will let you know what I come up with.

We are so used to its ready availability and we love this resource so very much though we don't give it much thought when all is well. Treat us to a week or two or five of no electricity, and very quickly, we who are used to it feel in near panic. Our "normal" lives are completely integrated with the availability of this form of energy.

Storms like Sandy wake us up to many many things, one of which is where we get our energy. More and more people are looking at telephone poles and wires and above ground transformers as woefully inadequate to what is needed making us so susceptible to outages on a quasi-regular basis. So think tanks get together about how to improve the situation and, for example, put everything we need to transfer electricity underground. (Many jobs would be created by doing this, by the way, resulting in revenue flowing).

 But something else is up and gets stimulated by storms like Sandy. A whole collection of approaches to new kinds of energy have been around for a very long time but always gets beaten back by power interests (pardon the pun),.I'm referring to the availability of whole other kinds of atomospherically 'free' energy from the air, from the ground, etc. Many of the best and brightest in very progressive fields who have been visionaries have been at best silenced and at worst jailed and dying younger than they should have. Everything from Tesla knowledge to running cars on chicken 'output' dies before it is born. It is an age old story of how the status determines to stay "quo."

Nature has tolerated our nonsence about long enough and is now going to be casting rather loud votes about how to come into balance, yay, into a whole new re-birth, if we are smart enough to allow that. The feeling I have is that the evolution of humankind is right on the edge now of making a huge heart based  leap. Indians have always shaken their heads at the White Man for doing his main thinking with his head instead of his heart. We are at a time now when the bad news is the good news. The old paradigm, including keeping antiquated systems patched together and ignoring much better options out of fear of speaking truth to power is being rolled over. Ready or not, here we come. Who is this 'we?' 'We' are the ones who look at this picture I included with the blog and are more aware of the birds than of the pole.' We' are the ones who know that FDR  was right, and know we have nothing to fear but fear itself. 'We' are the ones who appreciate what electricity offers us and are willing to open our minds even wider to possibilities that are nothing less than Star Trekian in what they offer.

As Nature throws us back on ourselves, I suggest that we are actually being thrown back on our 'becoming' selves, the 'us' that is brilliant, creative, egalitarian and self trusting because of being re-connected with our true roots. These roots are bigger than family, country, race. They are celestial, if you really want to source them at depth, for we truly are 'star stuff.'. Our being re-connected to these roots will allow a downpouring of knowledge and inspiration and ability never before, in recorded human history, this available to this many. That is my very clear perception. The way to re-connection as I see it is nature, nature, nature. Value her. Love her and most importantly, learn from her.

Those who live off the grid have the right idea so far as making space between themselves and what does not feel like it works for them anymore, but I would like to suggest that in truth, we are going to live with a new grid. It will be one of great conscious interconnection of all humans with each other, with the natural world here on earth, and with the whole cosmos. I have no idea what that will look like, but I trust my dreams about it. I do know everyone holds a key to make it all go better. If ever there is a way I can help another find what their key is, I am all over it. That is what my sessions (see in website) with people are about.

As I look at those birds on a wire, I feel I am looking at an old photograph of another time. It is only when the birds take flight and I see them against the backdrop of a clear blue sky that I feel in sinc with a deeper though not yet clearly visible reality. I love what electricity provides as much as anyone and . . . well, all I can say is, something this way comes, and it has to do with the infinite possibilities of enlightened humanity. We are not limited.
